The Fullmer Calf Ranch Vaccination Process
Proteogenomic and Whole Genome Sequencing are used to identify unique pathogens.
Regular sampling from calves makes sure our vaccination program has the genotypes and/or strains
for optimum immunity in each specific calf, regardless of breed.
In addition to the usual viral vaccines for BVD, IBR, BRSV and PI3, our vaccine program includes:
* Multivalent Mycoplasma bovis vaccine with multiple unique strains
* Combination vaccine for Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni & Bibersteinia trehalosi
* Salmonella vaccine that includes multiple serovars including S. dublin, S. infantis , S. meunchen, S. montevideo and S. uganda
* A Pinkeye program that includes both Moraxella bovis and the Moraxella bovoculi
Several antigens in our custom cattle vaccines are not available in any commercial vaccine on the market today.
They are made exclusively for Fullmer Calf Ranch's vaccination program by Genova Labs.
This means fewer antibiotic shots, lower mortality, fewer chronics, and faster performance at the heifer ranch.
